I got my son a haircut.

I love him. What guy wouldn't say that about his only son? This little guy and I haven't exactly had the most immediate attachment. He's been glued to his mother since birth. Over this past 8 months or so he's really come around to loving me. He and I are getting to know each other and he actually likes me as a dad. This a monumental time of my life. So, I decided to take him for something special. Our first haircut together. The first I've been able to take him to get I should say. He wanted to see how Dad got it. It was awesome. I love this little guy. My one and only son. You should get one. A son and a haircut :)

A great friend.

So.  Meet Heather.  A great friend.  She's on my worship team.

She also happens to be a great friend to the Kitten as well.  We're close.

We trust her.  My wife helped her with her wedding in all sorts of ways.  She was proud to do it.

She is also a loving wife.  Her and Eli have a special, lasting, bond.

This is Heather.  One of our most special friends.  One of our lifetime friends.  Unique, cool, loving.  Everyone should get to know her.

You can follow Heather here at http://livingoutloud-heathernelson707.blogspot.com/

These are just a few sides I've revealed of my bro here.  She's really been through the ringer with us over the years that we've known her.  She's a one-of-a-kind.  A flip side to my wife but definitely on the same coin.  I made this small blog to let y'all know, and to remind you, that great friends aren't something you can just find down at the corner store.  Love them, and let them know you appreciate them when you can.

I forgot these were around.

I took Jaycie to Oakland to get some tests done and decided last minute to take her through the city and over the Golden Gate on the way home.  I'm looking a bit rough but what a great day!

We be datin'.

And it's a super time. A Super Light time! She loves me. She told me so. I can't believe she's here most of the time. Talk about the best years of your life! I love you Kitten.

Today is the day.

Yes, that the Lord has made. It is also my long awaited opportunity to meet the "Tattoo Man". I have ridden past his bike for a number of years. Never really getting close enough to really exam it. Always wondering who exactly the "Tattoo Man" was. I got my chance today. Picking up a tow tractor from Vehicle Maintenance he greeted us at the door. Needless to say, he was easily identified. Tattooed. The conversation was instant. Cool guy. Slipped him my card and he gave me the blessing to photograph and check out his bike. More to follow I'm sure. Weird how my day was today.
